Ingredients

Kale Crisps

200 g kale (fresh)
2 tbs Rapeseed oil (or olive oil)
2 pinches Salt
1 pinch Pepper

For the Dip

60 g yoghurt
1 tsp agave syrup (I use organic quality)
1 tsp turmeric (grounded)
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 pinch Salt
1 pinch Pepper

Prepare kale

Preheat the oven to 200° C.

Wash, dry and prepare the kale.

Cut kale

Remove the stalks from the individual kale leaves.

Perfect size

Cut the “filleted” kale leaves into a pleasant crisp size.

Marinate kale

Now place the kale in a bowl and add 2 tablespoons of oil.

Mix by hand and distribute the oil well over the leaves.

Season with salt and pepper.

Place kale

Spread the prepared leaves well on the baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake kale

Take the kale crisps out of the oven after 8 minutes and let them cool down.

Make a Dip

Prepare dip

Prepare a dip from yoghurt, agave syrup, turmeric, sesame, salt and pepper.

Serve

Arrange

Drape the crisps on a plate around a bowl of dip.

Nevertheless, there is nothing like “homemade”! For the healthy snack for you do not need much!

For a healthy snack you don’t need much:

  • Vegetable oil

  • Baking paper

You can certainly add some chili to your chips. Or you can sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on the cabbage before baking.

4. Interesting Facts About Kale

It doesn’t get any better than this: Kale is on the field in the north of Germany from autumn through winter to spring. Harvesting takes place as required, so that markets, supermarkets and discounters are always supplied fresh.

Because of the plant’s beautiful growth, one also speaks of the palm tree of Northern Germany and this rightly appreciates this vegetable!

Kale also has great properties: It is the vegetable with the highest content of beta-carotene and vitamin C. In addition, kale contains mustard oils and lots of vitamin K.
