Please read my complete ad before contacting me so you have a good understanding of what I offer and how to respond.

I am a private nurse with many years of medical experience that provides very professional and loving care giving & nurse services as a professional caregiver directly to a family with a family member that needs help, assistance, care and attention or to individuals for the same reasons. I am a Filipina female at 55 years of age and I am a very kind, friendly, honest, loving, thoughtful and decent professional person and I do have references that you can contact to verify. I have no criminal history or bad behaviors or habits and I am a trustworthy and hardworking person. I provide the extra care, superior service and genuine love to my patient above what is normally expected from a typical caregiver and my previous clients can easily attest to that. I have many years of experience working as a medical nurse and now I am providing my caregiver services to a family in need since caregiving is my first passion. I can also provide short nurse visit services when I am available. A nurse visit can be as short as 30 minutes and up to 4 hours and a nurse visit is good for checking vital signs, to check the welfare of the patient, to do hygiene services, administer medications, etc. I can also be a benefit to a family or patient that needs a short term reliever to stand in for when the regular full time caregiver needs time off to run their own errands, to spend time with their family and such as that.

NOTE: I use the proper protocols and procedures regarding the spread of any diseases to protect the patient, family members and myself. This is very important for the elderly especially for those with underlying health conditions and if there is any concern, I have already received my Covid vaccinations as well.
I am certified for adult and pediatric first aid, CPR, AED/BLS.

I do not provide my caregiver services through any agency or government program; I provide direct one on one care giving and nurse visit services to a family member or to an individual. I have many years of experience as an in home caregiver and 10 years as a medical nurse for several different doctors at a medical facility. I provide various services such as providing a loving and caring companionship, administer medications at their proper times, check vital signs, keep a record(s) and/or journal as needed, provide bathing and personal hygiene and changing services, basic cleaning, patient observation, communicate with patient's doctor as needed and make suggestions for care if needed and other patient care services. I am not able to lift anything heavy nor can I lift a person out of bed if they are not mobile but I can use a body lift to move the patient if it's available in the home. I can also transport the patient locally when needed using their own vehicle or the family vehicle for various errands, doctor and dentist appointments, shopping, banking, post office and also for visiting a park, a museum, a theater, etc. The vehicle's insurance would need my name added as an additional insured if I am driving the vehicle often or on a somewhat regular basis locally to the patients home. If non local driving would ever be needed this will need to be discussed ahead of time either at the interview or whenever the need would arise as it is not a normal part of my service to drive long distances but is something I can do occasionally for the patient's need if it is necessary.

My services are for those suffering from various problems such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, memory loss, stroke recovery, diabetes, cancer and other medical conditions, also for a blind person with medical needs and assistance, surgery or other medical recovery, long term illness or sickness or disease, disability or multiple disabilities, crippled or immobile, mentally handicapped or impaired person, end of life care or simply companionship and general care, etc. I typically care for the elderly but I also provide care for any person of any age that needs in home care and/or assistance with daily living needs, medications, meals, etc. I can also care for the young from infants to young children or any child with or without a disability, illness, injury, etc.

The high level of service I provide is very professional and excellent. Examples of this are when I had to correct a hospital doctor to change a prescription for my patient as it was not adequate for what my patient needed and the doctor agreed with my reasoning and then corrected the prescription. I have visited and also stayed with my patient while they were hospitalized at the request of the family to make sure the nursing staff properly cared for my patient and sometimes I had to step in to correct the nursing staff or do it myself if they are not able or willing to properly care for my patient. I have had to step in when a phlebotomist was not able to get a sample of my patients’ blood for testing but I was able to do so in the same spot that they failed to get blood. I have had to correct other caregivers to be more professional and how to provide the proper care for my patient and this has happened many times with various patients in the past and this still happens occasionally today. Some of my patients or their families have had me help them to screen and interview caregivers to hire for other duty shifts to see if the caregivers have the right attitude, knowledge and abilities to properly care for the patient. Unfortunately, my experience has taught me that not all caregivers provide good caregiving or quality service with a truly caring attitude and this seems to be more often true than not but I have met and recommended some good caregivers too.

Proper care and love for the patient is extremely important and sometimes the differences can lead to a patient becoming sick or infected which can easily lead to a doctor or hospital visit and this has actually happened when a patient was in the care of other caregivers. I have been able to reverse adverse health conditions of my patient caused by lack of proper care and avoided a hospital visit and nursed them back to better health conditions. So please understand that not all caregivers are the same and not all caregivers care as much as they should. My level of care comes from my heart and from my medical knowledge and proper care. I treat my patients like they are my parents or other close family member and if you hire me you will be getting a high level of professional care for your loved one and my previous customers can very easily attest to that.

Nurse visit services may not require an in person interview since this may be a one time or temporary service provision depending on the patients needs with just a phone interview probably being adequate.

I am willing to cover a fairly large area but please understand that the farther I need to travel to your location will require an additional fee for travel depending on the distance and/or travel time.

My current availability is for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and possibly on Sunday.
